After the success of our first cohort of Time to Relfect we’re excited to be opening up for a second opportunity for creative practitioners from the global majority* to reflect on their practice with counsellor and psychotherapist, Rafaela Nunes from threadUp CIC. Are you a creative practitioner from the global majority who would benefit from space to reflect on your practice?

MYRIAD: Time to Reflect is a space for global majority creative practitioners to come together to explore their practice with the support and guidance of qualified psychotherapist Rafaela Nunes from threadUpCIC, who specialises in working with the cultural sector.

If you work creatively with people in group settings and you would like time to reflect and to be supported in your work, then this opportunity is for you.

This is the final cohort for up to 12 creative practitioners to come together from October 2024 to May 2025.

When & where?

Sessions take place on the last Tuesday of every month, 3.30-5pm (dates below), at Bridge 5 Mill, 22A Beswick St, Manchester M4 7HR.

RAFAELA NUNES is an experienced counsellor dedicated to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of creatives and artists in Greater Manchester and internationally. With over 5 years of experience in private practice, Rafaela, who is from a global majority community herself, often works with freelance creatives from diverse backgrounds.

Through threadUp CIC, Rafaela offers tailored support to individual practitioners who experience intersectionality and benefit from her down to earth, warm and compassionate approach. She also works with organisations and recently collaborated with Factory International, offering movement-based group sessions and counselling sessions to the creative engagement team whilst they developed their new programme.
